I was told that I couldn’t do anything about child trafficking because of my age even though it affected my community... until I found PACT. I started a PACT Student Ambassador Chapter at my middle school and then at high school. So, today regardless of your age, you can start a PACT Student Ambassador Chapter and make a difference.

My parents never talked to me about this ‘subject matter’ before. I wish I would have known about this course before I entered high school.

I joined PACT to help stop child trafficking starting in High School in 2016. Our mission then was simple: help protect fellow students in the fight against child trafficking. This topic was so relevant back then, yet at our school the administration would not allow our 18 students to be on campus to discuss it. That has since changed because of what we had accomplished with PACT.

All students are confronted with ever-increasing issues of social injustice. One of the most threatening of these is trafficking of children and students. The safety of the students in our parish and across the community is critical to us, and it is right here in our backyard.

As an adult leader, I previewed the SACT Training Program, once I saw the way it was presented (for teens – by teens), I had to show my community. All our teens who participated in the SACT Training Program would recommend the SACT course to their peers.

It is time that our church and our community begin to acknowledge that we have a problem. The problem is child sex trafficking, not just child trafficking. Through the PACT courses you and your children will get that opportunity to stop child sex trafficking in your church...and throughout the community

• The Students Against Child Trafficking (SACT) came from the passions of students who saw a societal injustice and decided to act NOW.

PACT has put a wonderful program together combining the best of both worlds by empowering students in a “student to student” environment where behaviors are truly driven by peer influences, and we are trying to encourage corporate social responsibility to support these critical needs in our communities.

I was one of those children that was trafficked. There is a secret weapon to stop child trafficking; and that’s our children. The PACT courses help each other help identify the warning signs ‘s.... our PACT is working to stop child trafficking before it happens before it starts, by raising awareness and giving them the tools, they need to protect themselves.

I was a victim of child trafficking and it started within my own family. That was then, now I’m on a mission to stop it as God has given me this opportunity to help other through PACT.
